My search on imprints is born from my wish to « pare to the bone », it stays a main point of my work. Then I turned towards landscapes and intimist sculptures. These inside sculptures are a way to escape, for it’s by making « small » sculptures that I look for answers and find them. They are mostly made in granite or black diabase. In order to evoke nature, I also can use white marble, glass or steel. I associate to each material a natural correspondence, glass and water, rusty steel and magma, white marble and ice or snow. Whatever size it is, you have to be able to turn around the sculpture in order to watch and discover it. A special space has to be found for it, enabling it to exist.
